Zrinka Ujević
Ms Ujević holds the position of Head of European Commission Representation in Croatia since April 2024. Previously, she was Director-General for Europe at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs from 2016 until 2024. From 2000 to 2014, she played a pivotal role at the Mission of Croatia to the EU, initially overseeing Political Affairs, later serving as the Head of the office of the Chief Negotiator for Croatia's accession to the EU. Later, she became Deputy Head of the Permanent Representation of Croatia to the EU while simultaneously taking on the role of her country's representative to the Political and Security Committee. In earlier stages of her career, she served as the Deputy Head of the United Nations Department at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through which she dealt of a variety of international issues, including in the field of security and peacekeeping.
Ms Ujević attended the Diplomatic Academy of the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and holds a rank of Croatia's Ambassador since 2014.
