Mirko Budiša


 
Mirko Budiša is a distinguished expert in the field of environmental protection, with more than 25 years of experience in waste management and sustainable development projects in the private and public sectors. He was born in Drniš, graduated from the Secondary School of Civil Engineering in Split, and in 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Zagreb. During his career, he led numerous development projects, and in the period from 2018 to 2022, he headed the preparation of study and project documentation for facilities and structures for waste treatment and recovery of the City of Zagreb. In October 2022, the Government of the Republic of Croatia appointed him as Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund.
He is authored and co-authored a number of professional papers and is a member of committees for the development of various action plans and other programming documents.
